We hope to provide a valuable resource to our members, as well as others who are interested in the Sprinkler and Fire Protection Industry.
We received our charter in 1976, and are proud of the remarkable work of past and present members who have dedicated themselves to Local 853 and the people of Ontario. Working in the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional and Residential sectors, our highly skilled tradesman provide their services and expertise in making Ontario a safe place to live.
With expanded training programs and education, we are ready to move forward into the future, maintaining the high standards required in today’s highly technical and changing workplace.
By means of a strong strategic plan, UA Local 853 endeavours to continue acquiring a larger share of the construction market and strong growth in our membership throughout the province. We have established a legacy that future generations of Local 853 can be proud of and build upon.
